After only a day's break, load shedding has recommenced at stage 2 and stage 3 in rotation until further notice. Eskom had suspended load shedding until 5 am on Wednesday due to lower demand over the weekend and a public holiday. However, the power stations in the country are still experiencing pressure, despite a gradual improvement.

To assess the situation, Kgosientsho Ramokgopa, Minister in the Presidency responsible for Electricity, is touring all of Eskom's power stations. Ramokgopa has expressed confidence in resolving the country's load shedding problem and ultimately putting an end to it.

He has also pledged to be open and honest in his efforts to address the energy crisis and keep the general public informed.

During his visits to the power stations, Ramokgopa met with senior management and workers to understand their operations, the challenges they face, and the programmes implemented to address these issues.
