Tracee Ellis Ross is an actress, host and executive producer and host of “Hair Tales” on Hulu which premiered on 22 October 2022. Tracee Ross’ boss' move to give women a platform to speak on their traumas that come with beauty standards has shaken the internet. IG:GOKETOWITHTEE stan account tweeted “I recommend watching #TheHairTales y’all such a beautiful and relatable conversation that I’m sure all black women would enjoy.” However, Tracee did get some negative public responses for hosting the show. Nnneka M. Okona tweeted, “I think #TheHairTales on OWN is a great show because for Black women our hair is complex & more than simply hair. And I love Tracee, too, but I wish they had chosen someone who wasn’t so light & didn’t have a loose hair texture to host the show. My two cents.”
